About me
Hey, I'm Glarmir, a leatherworker from Czechia, the heart of Europe. I've learned the craft from many amazing people including a seasoned leatherworker J. Psota, all of whom have taught me a lot of things - from sewing, cutting and dyeing to various decoration and design techniques. I have further developed my skills in designing custom pieces inspired by fantasy motives - from elven leaves to dwarven runes.
How I work?
I. Design
I start with a consultation to understand your vision and requirements. Together, we’ll discuss design ideas and any specific details you want in your piece. Once we hammer out the requirements, I’ll create a sketch or two for your approval.
II. Material Selection
After the design is confirmed, I carefully select the finest leather and other materials needed for your project. Whether it’s choosing the right leather type, texture, or thickness, each choice is made to ensure both durability and beauty.
III. Crafting
With the design and materials ready, I handcraft your piece using traditional leatherworking techniques. This involves cutting, stitching, and finishing each item with precision and care.
IV. Final Inspection and Delivery
Once the crafting process is complete, I thoroughly package your finished piece to ensure it will get to you safely and ready to be enjoyed for years to come.
